About Us Management Learning Associates Ltd is a new company, created by David Gollings in December 2003 to continue the management development work which he and his associates had previously provided through New Zealand College of Management. With a broad early background in the finance industry in UK and New Zealand, David more recently held the senior training management roles with both ASB Bank and Auckland Healthcare Ltd before joining NZ College of Management in 1996 as their Northern Regional Manager. With this experience, and the support of a wide network of expert associates, we look forward to working with you in the practical resolution of personal and organisational development needs through a combination of:

Programmes & Services With our emphasis on the practical and applied, our Aim is to achieve development outcomes which enhance both individual and organisational performance, in a practical and interactive learning environment. We believe that such an approach can be made challenging and at the same time enjoyable, and if enjoyable is likely to be a more effective learning experience.
Advanced Leadership Programme: For senior managers, and those preparing to move to senior positions, an intensive review of practical leadership issues encountered in a senior role….includes 360 evaluations & experiential exercises, by Team Management Services Ltd. 16 – 20 May 31 October – 4 November Waitakere Lodge, Auckland – Full residential cost $3,550+GST
Leadership Skills Programme: Designed for front-line managers, as a means of resolving issues of leadership. Includes 360 evaluations and experiential exercises by TMS Ltd. 3 – 6 May 30 August - 2 September 15 – 18 November Whangaparoa Lodge, Auckland – full residential cost $2,950 + GST
Introductory Management: For those new to a management role, or who need to extend their core management capabilities, a variety of practical management topics. 23 – 25 May, Wellington 10 – 12 October, Auckland Non-residential, cost $1,450 + GST, venues have accommodation option
Team Leader Programme: Two highly practical days focussing on the day to day issues faced in supervising the workplace performance of people & teams. 10 - 11 March, Napier 5 - 6 May, Nelson 9 - 10 June, Tauranga 8 - 9 September, Hamilton 20 - 21 October, Whangarei November 17 - 18, New Plymouth Non-residential, cost $675, venues have accommodation option.

Public Programmes:
A range of management and leadership programmes ranging from senior managers to new team leaders is available.
Because of the wide range of our client base, such public programmes do offer the added benefit of time spent with peers from other sectors and industries, providing exposure to differing ideas, approaches and experiences.
In-house Programmes
Whilst the external “public” option described above has proven value, there are times when the alternative of using in-house programmes developed or adapted to your own organisational needs and required outcomes can be of real benefit in bringing your people together on common ground and providing a cost-effective solution to current issues.
All of our public programmes have the option of adaptation for such in-house use, and in addition to this we now have available a range of individual topic workshops previously developed to meet individual client needs, which can be offered in any combination, and delivered to suit the location and availability of your people.
