Foundation Year at University of Otago New Zealand The University of Otago Foundation Year
There is a diverse student body with people coming from over 25 countries including New Zealand. Each year 89% of student who come to Foundation Year are admitted to university. Course details: Streams include Arts, Applied Sciences, Business/Commerce, Design, Health Sciences, Life Science and Physical Education. Students are taught in university lecture theatres and laboratories on campus ensuring that they feel confident and familiar with the university environment. Free one-on-one consultation times where teachers help students with learning new information and study skills. There are 20-24 hours of formal classes each week with 20 hours per week of indpendant study. Small classes of no more than 16 students. Intakes: February and June – All streams October – All streams except Health Sciences Bridging courses start in January and May. Tuition Fees: Commerce/Arts /Design - NZ$16,250 Applied Science/HealthSciences/Life Science/Physical Education – NZ$16,950 English Language Requirements:
