Get a degree or diploma for the age of globalisation

IPC offers degree and diploma programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, all of which are approved and accredited by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA). IPC emphasizes development of critical thinking skills and creative, balanced and pragmatic approaches to problems. This means that graduates contribute to society  while utilising their knowledge and skills in  a creative manner.

Think globally, act locally

“Volunteer activities and internships”

IPC regards personal experience outside of the classroom as highly valuable. Service to the community is mutually beneficial. Connections between learning in class and in a wide range of on-campus or communities clubs, teams and activities, or volunteer organizations contributes to the society in which students live and is important for the holistic development of each student.

Receive one-on-one support from friendly staff

“Students can flourish with the personal attention that the  faculty provide at IPC” says President John F. Fanselow.

Another advantage of studying at IPC is the individual attention you can receive from friendly, approachable staff. Because of small classes (15 students per class on average), unlike in larger institutions, individual support and attention are readily available for all students.

Enjoy learning with computers

IPC’s computer environment is state of the art. Via a wireless network, students may access the Internet and a student server on their computer from their classrooms, the Dinning Hall, their rooms in the halls of residence, and even outdoors. Most student at IPC have their own lap-top computers. They can also access computer laboratories with the latest equipment available. Students learn many applications through instruction in class, but they develop their own computer skills by using them for assignments and projects as well as personal interest and hobbies. Computing is a vital part of IPC life.

Make international friends in a truly global campus

“At IPC you have chance to learn and use foreign language all day” says Patricia Mayo

IPC has students and staff from over twenty countries working and studying together. IPC aims to foster closer links and understanding among nations through education.

“We need to listen to people from a range of countries and backgrounds within our own country and like a child, be curious about differences. We need to compare to see “hidden likeness” between us and others, as well as differences.”

-President John F. Fanselow
